VZX Player – Privacy Policy

1. Compliance

This policy is designed to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 (India) and international privacy standards regarding data transparency and user consent.

2. Data Collection Policy

VZX Player operates as a no-account application. We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your streaming history or M3U playlist contents.
• Personal files, videos, or documents stored on your device.
• Personal identifiable information such as names, phone numbers, or passwords.

3. Analytics & Diagnostics

To improve app stability and performance, we use Google Analytics (Firebase). This service collects non-personally identifiable technical information, including:

• Device hardware model and Operating System version.
• Crash reports and diagnostic logs.
• App interaction data (e.g., frequency of feature usage).

This data is used exclusively for debugging and optimizing the VZX Player experience.

4. Third-Party Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process specific identifiers to serve relevant ads to you, such as:

• Advertising ID (AAID).
• General Location derived from your IP Address.

By using this application, you acknowledge the processing of this data by Google. You may refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more information on how they manage data.

5. Device Permissions & Local Storage

• Local Storage: All user-added playlists and app configurations are stored locally on your device. We cannot access this data remotely.
• Media Access: The app requests storage permissions solely to enable the browsing and playback of your local video files.
• Microphone: Access is requested only for the Voice Search feature. Audio is processed for speech-to-text conversion locally and is never recorded or stored by VZX Player.

6. Children’s Privacy

VZX Player is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal data from minors. If we discover that a child has provided us with data, we will delete it immediately.
